Three injured in Pak shelling
Jammu, Aug 01: Pakistani troops shelled areas along the Line of Control in Poonch and Rajouri sectors of Jammu and Kashmir injuring two personnel and a civilian, official sources said today.
Jammu, Aug 01: Pakistani troops shelled areas along the Line of Control in Poonch and Rajouri sectors of Jammu and Kashmir injuring two personnel and a civilian, official sources said today.
The heavy shelling which began last night continued today in Noushera, Janghar, Romlidhara, Jallas, Salotri, Laam, Bhawani, Chokichora and Sabzian areas of the two sectors, the sources said.
Two personnel Dharam Singh and Karan Singh were injured in the shelling at Romlidhara and one civilian Mohammad Sharief at Jallas, they said.
Indian troops retaliated and an exchange of fire took place between the two sides.
Pakistani rangers also fired along the international border in R S Pura and Samba areas of Jammu frontier to disrupt the ongoing fencing work by the BSF, the sources said. Bureau Report
