Pune, Sept 16: Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from most parts of West Rajasthan, some parts of Gujarat and north Arabian Sea, India Meteorological Department(IMD) said here today. The withdrawal line passes through Ganganagar, Churu, Ajmer, Deesa, Porbandar at 21 degree north/ 67 degree east and 21 degree north and 60 degree east.

Meanwhile, southwest monsoon has been active in south interior Karnataka, it said in a release. Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura and sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 48 hours.
