Mumbai, Nov 27: The Special Investigating Team (SIT), set up in the Telgi stamp paper scam, has submitted its final report to the Mumbai High Court. The hearing was meant to focus on the role of former Mumbai Police Commissioner R S Sharma.

But it could now get overshadowed by the legal controversy, over whether the entire case can be transferred to the CBI or not. The state government has claimed no objection to the case being transferred, but many anticipate legal roadblocks before that can happen.
