New Delhi, June 03: The heat wave in the capital showed no signs of relenting today with the mercury crossing the 45 degrees Celsius mark to record the hottest day of the season thus far. According to the Met office, the mercury soared to 45.6 degrees Celsius, a good five degrees above the normal while the minimum at 28.8 degrees Celsius was also one degree more than the normal value for the city.
Delhi had recorded 44.2 degrees yesterday.
The Met office predicted that heat wave conditions with hot winds would continue for some more days adding to the woes of Delhiites. Bureau Report
