Bangalore, Apr 07: Entering the fray from the second constituency, former Prime Minister and JD(S) president H D Devegowda today filed his nomination papers for Lok Sabha polls from Hassan in his home district. Gowda has already filed his papers from Kanakapura, seeking re-election from the constituency where he is facing TV journalist Tejaswini Ramesh (Congress) and BJP's Ramachandra Gowda.
Along with Gowda, B R Gurudev also filed his papers as JD(S) candidate in Hassan, where state minister H C Srikantiah is the Congress candidate. Hassan will go to polls in the second phase on April 26 and Kanakapura in the first phase on April 20. Bureau Report
