Buenos Aires, May 02: Soccer star Diego Maradona continues to play golf after leaving hospital. Diego Maradona was seen on Saturday (May 01) at the plush country getaway outside Buenos Aires where he is staying playing golf, just one day after he appeared on a talk show. Since being rushed to intensive care with heart and lung trouble 14 days ago Maradona had not been seen, even though hundreds of fans held a vigil at the doors of the Swisso-Argentine clinic. Driving a golf cart around the vast estate, Maradona neared the outer gates of the property and thanked the media for "coming to visit." Just days ago he was in critical condition, heavily sedated and on an artificial respirator. But the 43-year-old World Cup-winner looked relaxed as he walked unaided around his friend's country house on Friday (April 30), while members of the media and fans clamored outside the ranch for a glimpse of the soccer legend.

It was not clear how long Maradona planned to stay or whether he intends to return to Cuba, where he has lived for most of the past four years to receive treatment for cocaine addiction.
