Brajesh Mishra to visit Bangladesh on Friday
National security adviser Brajesh Mishra meets Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia in Dhaka on Friday carrying a personal message of goodwill of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, even as Dhaka summoned the Indian High Commissioner in connection with VHP`s protests in New Delhi.

Mishra, coming on a day`s visit as Vajpayee`s special envoy, will be carrying a personal message of goodwill of the Prime Minister of India for the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a release on Thursday.
Mishra`s visit will be highest level contact between the two sides following the change of government in Bangladesh on October 10 after the October 1 general elections.
Before calling on Zia, he will also hold talks with Bangladesh foreign minister A Q M Badruddoza Chowdhury.
The release said that the purpose of Mishra`s visit is to establish contact with the newly-elected government in Bangladesh and to further strengthen the existing cordial relations between the two neighbourly countries. Meanwhile, Indian high commissioner in Bangladesh Manilal Tripathy was summoned to the foreign office to express Bangladesh`s deep concern at the demonstration by some members of Visha Hindu Parishad and other groups in front of Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi on October 23.
