Bangalore, Aug 28: Work on the 33 km long Bangalore metro rail would begin by November or December even as the project awaits approval from the Finance Ministry, Bangalore Mass Rapid Transit Ltd chairman Umesh Bhat said today.
"We have got nearly 99 per cent of the approvals for the project including the one from the Urban Development Ministry and the Planning Commission. We are awaiting approval from the Finance Ministry," Bhat told reporters here.
