MCC activists kidnap 10 officials in Jharkhand
Ranchi, July 10: Activists belonging to the banned Maoist Communist Centre (MCC) have kidnapped 10 officials of a construction company, including some engineers, from Jharkhand`s Hazaribagh district last night.

Confirming the report, R R Prasad, DGP, Jharkhand, said that the kidnapped men were employees of the company Hindustan Constructions Limited.
He said a hunt had been launched to trace the abducted men, but there was no breakthrough yet.
Police control room sources said that around a 100 armed extremists surrounded the make-shift office at Kosma village in Barkata, about 150 kilometres from the capital Ranchi, late last night and beat up some labourers. Thereafter, they took the officials along with them.
