New Delhi, Mar 06: Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today said the focus of his Bharat Uday Yatra will be on governance, though all the core issues of the BJP, including Ayodhya, will also be raised.
However, Advani rejected charges that the yatra might lead to communal tension.

Defence Minister George Fernandes also assured that the Yatra will not create any communal or law and order problems.
"Advani is going on a yatra to ask the people to vote for his party. That`s all. He is not going on any kind of pilgrimage," said Fernandes. "Every party has it way of campaigning. This is BJP`s way of campaigning", he added.

Meanwhile, Fernandes claimed that the Ayodhya issue will not be on the NDA agenda for the coming Lok Sabha election.
"Good governance was the agenda in the last election and the same will continue this time too," said Fernandes.
The Defence Minister also expressed confidence that the BJP-NDA combine would win over 300 seats.
