The white ambassador car with red beacon light and fake home ministry sticker was removed from the Parliament complex and taken into custody by police for further investigation, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Mukesh Meena said.
About 30 kilograms of deadly RDX was recovered from the car and defused. Other explosives carried by the five terrorists in bags were also defused successfully. At least two grenades were also defused by controlled detonation.
