New Delhi, June 06: The heat wave conditions in the National Capital were today declared as "abated" by the met office, though Delhiites continued to brave the heat with temperature above 43 degrees celsius, accompanied with "very humid" conditions. The maximum temperature in the national capital touched 43.1 dc, two degrees above normal, and the minimum was 30 dc, also two degrees above normal, the met office said.

The MeT office forecast, for next 24 hours, was a partly cloudy sky with dust storm and minor showers at some places.
However, the temperature would continue to hover around 42 dc, it said.

Delhiites, reeling under intense heat wave conditions, had some respite last night with minor showers.

The MeT office said abating of heat wave conditions was due to the western disturbances which might further intensify in the next 24 hours resulting in minor showers and a dust storm.
