Oscar-nominated actress Winona Ryder, who specializes in portraying troubled young women, was arrested on Wednesday night at a posh Beverly Hills department store for allegedly shoplifting $5,000 worth of clothing, police said on Thursday. The 30-year-old actress, who starred in the 1999 film Girl, Interrupted, was charged with grand theft and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription and released on $20,000 bail, Beverly Hills police spokeswoman Stephanie Ochoa said.
