It`s curtains for South India amateur golf championship
Udhagamandalam (TN), Jun 01: The three-day 100th edition of South India amateur open golf championship, conducted here by Ootacamund Gymkhana Club, concluded here last evening with a amateur golfer from Coimbatore, Joseph Chakola Jr. bagging the coveted 100th championship trophy.

Past winners of such tournaments including two time winner Faize, V P Mahendran of the VST Group of Companies, Bangalore and three time winner David D'souza, also from Bangalore were honored on the occasion a leading industrialist in Coimbatore K Rajagopal.
The Nilgiris district collector K Sellamuthu, who was the chief guest, after giving away the trophies, said the district administration would extend all help to the club for its promotion.
