Bangalore, Aug 14: The 29th K-1000 Rally for motorcycles will be flagged off on August 17 here, Karnataka Motor Sports Club (KMC), the event organisers, said yesterday.
The 357 km rally, covering terrain and special stages guaranteeing to put to test man and machine alike, has attracted 40 entries, a KMC release said here.
Top riders Akash Aithal, C D Jinnan and G Prasad will vie for honours, it said.
The rally will pass through Chikkaballapur with a stopover for servicing at Bagepalli with a challenging terrain of 34 kms, it said. The 29th K-1000 rally for cars will be held on a later date, it said.
