The judicial remand of suspected al Qaeda terrorist Mohammed Afroze Abdul Razzak was on Tuesday extended till January 29 by a Mumbai court.

Afroze was produced before additional chief metropolitan Magistrate V P Taware, Tuesday morning.
The al Qaeda suspect was last produced on January 1 and his remand was extended till Jan 15.

He was brought to the court room amid tight security around the metropolitan court.
Afroze was arrested on October 2 in a robbery case and later investigations and his subsequent ''confession'' to the crime branch investigators revealed that he was a member of Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda terrorist network.
He was charged with conspiracy of waging a war against the country. Afroze also ''confessed'' of being part of a suicide squad to blow up the British Parliament. He told the police that there was a plan to blow up the Indian Parliament and the Rolta towers in Australia.
