New Delhi: Former Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni has once again made it to the news but, this time, the reason is not amusing at all. Husband of the 44-year-old star had allegedly been masterminding a drug racket worth Rs 2000 crore.

As per a report in deccanchronicle.com, her better-half, Kenya-based Vicky Goswami, is accused of smuggling drugs to the US from a factory in Mumbai- via Kenya. The report further states that Vicky will soon be extradited from Kenya.


The whole scheme unfolded when Thane police seized 20 tonnes of ephedrine in country's biggest drug seizure. 


Earlier, Vicky was reportedly arrested for trafficking drugs in Dubai. Though, he was released in 2013.
