NY, Oct 08: Capitol has set a Nov. 4 release for Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band's "Greatest Hits 2." The 14-track album includes three previously unavailable songs as well as such favorites as "Rock and Roll Never Forgets" and "Katmandu." The collection also boasts Seger's only No. 1 hit on Billboard's Hot 100, "Shakedown," from 1987's "Beverly Hills Cop II" soundtrack.
Although none of the songs Seger's first "Greatest Hits" are repeated on the new compilation, the enhanced disc will include music videos for two that did: "Night Moves" and "Turn the Page."
Released in 1994, "Greatest Hits" has sold 6.3 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. The set reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and spent 114 weeks on the chart.
