New Delhi: Indian singer Mika Singh's appearance on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' turned out to be an ugly affair as 'Colors' channel is reportedly unhappy with this act. It is also being said that this visit of the 38-year-old musician might cost him his job on 'Comedy Nights Live'.

As per a TOI report, Mika hopes that things between him and the channel get resolved soon because nothing was intentional from his side.

"Yes, I could have informed the channel, but it needs to be taken into account that I didn't go to Kapil's show in place of Sidhuji (Navjot Singh Sidhu) or become a permanent fixture, as I understand that my responsibilities are quite similar to Sidhuji's on my show. I appeared on Kapil's show as a celebrity to promote my songs," the report further quoted him as saying.

Mika replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu as a celebrity judge on 'Comedy Nights' when Kapil and team moved to a different channel.
