Moscow, Apr 15: Former Beatle Paul McCartney plans to play not only in Moscow`s Red Square next month but also in Russia`s second city Saint Petersburg as part of its 300th anniversary celebrations, a news agency reported today. McCartney now has plans to head to the former imperial capital two days earlier to give a rock master-class, and again on May 25, as the celebrations are getting into full swing, for another concert, his tour organisers told the news agency. McCartney will be accompanied by members of his longtime group wings and will perform songs from the Beatles and Wings repertoires to get her with some new songs, the organisers said. Heads of state and government from up to 40 countries are lined up to visit Saint Petersburg in the last days of may to mark the founding of Saint Petersburg, President Vladimir Putin`s home city, by Peter The Great in 1703.
