New Delhi, May 26: Swiss watchmaker Christian Dior said today it is targeting sales revenues of over Rs 12 crore by selling about 5000 watches in India this fiscal. "We intend to sell about 4500-5000 watches this fiscal through our 26 retail outlets across the country," its regional managing director Ravi Thakran said at the launch of a new range of watches here. The company would also increase its operations to 15 cities from 13 and would take the number of retail outlets to 40.
Thakran said demand for top fashion watches (costing over Rs 25,000) was growing and was presently estimated to be about 1,20,000 watches every year.
