New Delhi, May 11: An Indo-British parliamentary forum delegation to be led by its chairman Praful Patel would visit Britain today and is likely to discuss India's initiative to begin a dialogue with Pakistan besides interacting on other political and trade related issues. The delegation which would include IBPF's co-chairperson Renuka Chowdhury besides other figures of the domestic political spectrum, would be accompanied by a Ficci team to be headed by its president A C Muthiah, a Ficci release said.
It is expected to discuss issues such as counter- terrorism, post-Iraq war situation, trade and investment opportunities, and science and technology.
The forum launched recently by External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha is supported by Ficci and seeks to add parliamentary dimension to the list of political, economic and trade bilateralism between India and UK. Bureau Report
