CSC set up to study report on MOUs singed by Dhumal govt
Shimla, Sept 28: The Himachal Pradesh government has constituted a four-member cabinet sub-committee to study the report of the officials` committee which had reviewed the MOUs signed by the previous P K Dhumal government on various hydel projects in the state, an official spokesman said today.

report of the officials' committee which had reviewed the MOUs
signed by the previous P K Dhumal government on various hydel
projects in the state, an official spokesman said today.
The cabinet sub-committee headed by Vidya Stokes would
give its recommendation to the cabinet within a fortnight, he
said.
Other members of the committee are Irrigation
Minister Kaul Singh Thakur, Forest Minister Chander Kumar and
Education Minister Asha Kumari, he said.
Power Secretary T C Janartha would be the member
secretary of the cabinet sub-committee, the spokesman said.
The cabinet in its last meeting had discussed the report
of the committee set by the state government under the
chairmanship of Chief Secretary Rajendra Bhattacharya and had
decided to refer the report to the cabinet sub-committee for
further action.
