New Delhi, Feb 27: The Liberhan Commission on Babri Masjid demolition today placed ``under consideration`` an application seeking to summon Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Justice M S Liberhan also took into consideration the application filed by the counsel of Mohd Aslam Bhure to resummon Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani before the commission.
Bhure, who filed a public interest litigation (PIL) in the Supreme Court in 1990 to stop `Kar Seva` in Ayodhya, asked the commission to call Vajpayee for cross-examination because he had a ``significant role in the demolition.``
``The deliberation of the commission and its report cannot be complete without the testimony of Vajpayee and Advani,`` said Bhure`s counsel O P Sharma. Sharma, who today gave the commission his written submission, said Advani needed to be summoned because his earlier examination was interrupted.

Sharma was allowed by the commission to begin his final arguments in three weeks.
The commission later adjourned its proceedings till March 3.
Earlier, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board submitted its written arguments before the commission. The board will begin its arguments on March 3.
Uttar Pradesh advocate General Virendra Bhatia, representing the state government, will place its written submission on March 3.
