today spoke to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh
Yadav and advised him not to adopt a confrontationist attitude
and prevent VHP workers from entering Ayodhya for their rally

Advani told Tadav, who is currently in Bhopal, over

their programme would remain peaceful, confrontation should be
avoided.
The VHP workers should not be prevented from entering the
holy town, a Home Ministry spokesman quoted Advani as telling
Yadav.
Advani also told Yadav that keeping these assurances in mind, the Centre had also decided not to stop the trains from going to Faizabad and Ayodhya or nearby places.
Yadav, the spokesman said, told Advani that he would hold discussions with state government officials and revert back to the Deputy Prime Minister. Bureau Report
