Burbank, Nov 20: Andy Bird has been named president, Walt Disney International, replacing Michael Johnson, who left in April to become chief executive officer of privately held Herbalife International Inc. Bird leaves his post as president of Time Warner's TBS International and will join Disney in January.

In his new post, bird will oversee Disney's new business plans outside the United States as well as overseeing existing businesses.
