New Delhi, Dec 01: President A P J Abdul Kalam is rescheduling his visit to Punjab and Haryana to return to the national capital today afternoon to exercise his franchise in the Delhi Assembly Polls.
The President, who will be presenting colours to various army regiments at Pathankote, Mohali and Hissar today, has rescheduled his programme to cast his vote, Rashtrapati Bhavan sources said yesterday.
Kalam has got his vote in the Gole Market Assembly Constituency from where Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit is seeking re-election.
Earlier, the sources said that the first citizen of the country was unlikely to exercise his franchise because of his prior engagments.
