Oct 24: The 2003 World Superbike Championship series has been increased from 13 to 14 rounds, with the Sepang circuit in Malaysia the latest addition to the calendar . However, instead of two rounds in Germany there will only be one and there is no provision for a race in South Africa.

Britain retains two races on the calendar at Silverstone on 15 June and Brands Hatch on 27 July.
But neither a country nor a venue has been announced for the round on 31 August.
The series will begin in Valencia, Spain on 2 March and end at Magny-Cours, France on 19 October.
