Washington: Paris Jackson, the daughter of late singer Michael Jackson, has rekindled her relationship with her estranged mother Debbie Rowe, shortly after that latter was diagnosed with breast cancer.

According to TMZ, Paris, 18, texted her mother and said "I love you". The two are now planning to meet up after Rowe undergoes surgery in the coming weeks.


Paris' relationship with her mother has been on the rocks for more than a year, but they recently reunited after news of Rowe's diagnosis broke.


Debbie, who married Michael in 1996, gave all parental rights to him after their divorce.


Rowe, who was recently spotted on Paris' 18th birthday party, was granted supervised visitation rights of their children following the death of the 'Thriller' hit-maker.


Paris, who, like her brothers Prince, 19, and Blanket, 14,was raised by her father Michael until his death from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009, was then placed under the guardianship of her grand mother Katherine Jackson.
