New Delhi, Oct 30: Victims of the 1984 riots in Delhi today asked the international community to put pressure on the government to provide justice to them. "We have no faith on the government. In the last 20 years we have not got justice for the atrocities committed against us. That is why we have decided to make the world leaders aware of the plights of the 1984 riots victims, especially the widows," Chairman of November 1984 Victims Widows Jatha Darshan Kaur told reporters here.
As part of their strategy, the riots victims would march to the Us embassy here tomorrow to submit a memorandum to US President George W Bush in this regard.
"Since many big political leaders were directly involved in the riots, nobody is interested in taking the case to its logical conclusion," Kaur alleged.
When asked about the proposed BJP move to give her a ticket in the forthcoming Delhi Assembly polls, Kaur said so far no one had approached her in this connection.
"But given a chance, I am ready to fight for the cause of the 1984 riots victims," she added.
