Minister of State for External Affairs Omar Abdullah on Thursday left for Ukraine and Belarus in a bid to foster healthy and closer relations with the two Central Asian countries.
This is the first visit to the two countries by any Union Minister in the last eight years. India's diplomatic relations with Ukraine and Belarus have been rather low key since the disintegration of erstwhile USSR.
