HC reserves order on dissidents plea
Lucknow, Feb 05: The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court today reserved its verdict till February seven on the writ petition of six dissident BJP and one BSP legislators challenging the proceedings for disqualifying them from the Uttar Pradesh assembly.

The disqualification petitions moved by their respective
parties are pending before the Assembly Speaker Kesri Nath
Tripathi.
The bench comprising Justice Pradeep Kant and Justice G K Gupta reserved its verdict for February 7 after hearing counsels for both the parties.
Senior lawyer Siddhartha Shanker Ray appeared on behalf of the MLAs while the Speaker was represented by up advocate general S C Misra.
