New Delhi: Fresh trouble has come up for late television actress Pratyusha Banerjee's boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, who was discharged from the hospital today.

Rahul Raj Singh was hospitalised in Shree Sai hospital in Mumbai after he complained of chest pain, a day after Pratyusha was found hanging from her ceiling fan at her residence.


Meanwhile, according to ANI reports, Pratyusha's father has filed a complaint to the Indian Medical Association (IMA) against the hospital for shielding Rahul Raj Singh in the case in exchange of money from him.


Reacting to the allegations, Dr. SJ Goel of Shree Sai hospital, who was treating Rahul, told ANI that she, along with a psychiatrist and two councilors, has given day to day bulletin to the police for evaluation.


Goel also claimed that the Rahul was also suffering from restless leg syndrome and was therefore under observation.


"I can understand Pratyusha's parents are sad as they have lost their daughter and my sympathy is with them, but its police's work to find out who the criminal is, I don't know anything," Dr Goel added.


After being discharged from the hospital, Rahul appeared before the Bangur Nagar police station today afternoon.


Rahul has been booked for abetting the suicide of the 24-year-old TV actress on April 1, has been granted interim protection from arrest till April 18 by the Bombay High Court.
