Ludhiana, Oct 03: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president and former Punjab Chief Minister, Prakash Singh Badal said here that all MLAs and MPs of his party would present themselves before the National Human Rights Commission at New Delhi today to apprise it of the large-scale violations of human rights in Punjab.
The SAD president told reporters that the present Punjab government led by Capt. Amarinder Singh instead of treating his party as an opposition party was considering it as enemy number one.
"The state government was involved in political witch-hunting of the worst order," Badal said and added that cases against him and his relatives were being filed on the basis of false affidavits.
He said that he would present himself before the vigilance bureau by the end of this week.
