Islamabad, May 27: Maintaining that the summit-level talks with India would be conducted by Prime Minster Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has said Islamabad was ready to consider any proposals to share intelligence with India to curb militancy. "If India makes a concrete proposal in this regard, we are ready to consider it. We will have to see as to why and what type of intelligence Pakistan can share with India," he said in an interview to `Jung` newspaper while reacting to the Indian proposal on sharing intelligence. Musharraf also said he did not want to be an obstacle to normalisation of relations with India and that all future talks with Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee would be held by Jamali. "The Prime Minister of Pakistan will hold talks with his Indian counterpart and I will not become an obstacle in these talks," he said. The military ruler said the initiative of resuming ties with India was a "well considered decision" and promised to extend full support to Jamali`s initiatives in this regard. "We have taken an initiative and it was Premier Jamali who first contacted the Indian Prime Minister," he said, adding that measures being taken by Pakistan in order to normalise relations with India were reflection of nation`s full support to these endeavours. Musharraf said Pakistan wanted good relations with India and several measures were being worked out in regard to mutual confidence building. "Both countries have appointed their high commissioners. We have sent a number of proposals and India is analysing those proposals. It`s true the pace is slow but I`m optimistic about Indian response," he added.
