Thane, June 15: BJP national vice-president Gopinath Munde today demanded that all the five ministers in the Maharashtra cabinet, including Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, against whom social worker Anna Hazare has levelled allegations, should step down to make way for an impartial inquiry. Talking to mediapersons after inaugurating a day-long working committee meet of Maharashtra Pradesh Mahila Morcha here, Munde said state government has not taken the allegations seriously and it should now order an inquiry by a retired high court judge.
Munde said the Sena-BJP would contest the forthcoming assembly elections. Even though there is a fight between NCP and Congress now they will come together during assembly election, Munde said.
The meeting passed two resolutions including one condemning the state government for the deteriorating law and order situation. More than 120 delegates from all over Maharashtra attended the meeting. Bureau Report
