Salem, Aug 04: Water at the rate of 3000 cusecs, has been released from the Stanley reservoir at Mettur, from last evening for drinking water purposes, sub-divisional officer Selvaraj, said today. He told that water would be released till August 06, evening. Meanwhile, water level at the reservoir stood at 27.75 ft against its full level of 120 feet. The capacity stood at 6.689 tmc against the full capacity of 93.4 tmc, he said. The inflow into the reservoir was to the tune of 2125 cusecs, while the outflow was 2588 cusecs. Bureau Report
