Rail services disrupted in Bangladesh
Dhaka, June 15: Rail services between southeastern Chittagong and rest of Bangladesh remained suspended for several hours today following a strike by railway staff protesting the killing of an trade union leader of ruling Bangladesh Nationalist Party.

Protestors stopped movement of all trains coming out of Chittagong from this morning protesting the murder of Shafiuddin Ahmed, a leader of Jatiyatabadi Sramilk Dal, front organization of BNP.
Ahmed was shot at his railway colony quarter last night. Police have so far arrested five persons in connection with the killing.
Railway sources said train service resumed around noon.
