Ramallah, Oct 09: Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qorei tendered his resignation today as a session of Parliament in which he was to unveil his new government's programme was postponed, a source close to Yasser Arafat said. "Ahmed Qorei has submitted his resignation to the president," the source said. It was not immediately clear if Arafat had accepted the resignation, which comes just four days after Qorei was installed by the veteran Palestinian leader in a presidential decree, which also ushered in emergency rule.
