Mumbai, Oct 04: In a bid to strengthen its payment card portfolio, Bank of Baroda (BoB) and MasterCard International on Friday launched the gold credit card in the country. The card offers flexible card limits, roll over facility into five per cent monthly instalments and higher insurance cover, BoB said in a release here.
Bobcards Ltd managing director C B Chhaya said the initial demand was estimated to be about 10,000 per month. This card can be used at over one lakh establishments in India and over 3.2 crore establishments worldwide, he added.
Bobcards, the subsidiary of BoB, has also launched its full fledged money changing division at Colaba branch, in South Mumbai. Bureau Report
