Bangalore, July 06: Appealing to the All India Muslim Personal Law Board not to be "rigid" in its stand, Anjuman Minhaj-e-Rasool chairman Maulana Syed Athar Hussain Dehlavi today said that the board should find a way for continuing the talks to resolve the temple-mosque issue in Ayodhya.
"The AIMPLB is the authoritative representative of the Muslims, but the outcome of today's meeting should not be rigid and final. They should ensure that talks continue," Dehlavi said here.
He was speaking to reporters after holding talks with art of living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar alongwith universal association for spiritual awareness founder president Pandit N K Sharma.

Maintaining that the Ayodhya row would be resolved by dialogue, Dehlavi said an atmosphere of "trust" should be created for the talks to proceed further.
Referring to the Sankaracharya's statement yesterday that people of Ayodhya don't need another mosque, Dehlavi said that it was the Seer's personal comments and was not binding on anyone.
Urging spiritual leaders of both communities not to make personal comments which could be used to scuttle the talks, he said, politicians were using this for their personal gains.
"Stop making statements that can scuttle talks," Dehlavi said.
