PM`s relief fund given Rs. 2 crore by CBI
Mumbai, Feb 20: Dr Dalbir Singh, chairman and managing director of Central Bank of India (CBI) has handed over a cheque of Rs two crore towards Prime Minister`s national relief fund at New Delhi recently.

In a statement issued here yesterday by CBI stated Dr Singh apprised Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee that the CBI has the privilege to maintain the account since inception of the corpus four decades ago.
He also told Vajpayee about the bank's role in the upliftment of national economy.
