Mumbai, June 30: A special court has summoned 85 accused on bail in the 1993 bomb blast case to appear tomorrow and allowed co-accused and film actor Sanjay Dutt to mark his presence on July one. Designated judge P D Kode had exempted actor Sanjay Dutt from appearance till June end and allowed him to go abroad to perform stage shows. He will return on June 30 and appear before the court on the next day, his lawyer Farhana Shah said. About 30 accused, lodged in central prison, would also be produced before the court of designated judge P D Kode today. Eighty five accused, on bail, have been directed to appear on the same day. The examination of witnesses on evidence against accused Ejaz Pathan has concluded. Four witnesses, including CBI's superintendent of police O P Chhatwal, who had recorded Pathan's alleged confession, have deposed. Investigating officer Pramod Mudbhatkal also tendered evidence last week. Altogether 684 witnesses have deposed so far in the trial that commenced in 1995. About 13,000 pages have been recorded as evidence.
