tournament here in Sicily.
Chladkova, 24, won 6-1 6-1 yesterday to set up a last 16
meeting with either Spaniard Anabel Medina Garrigues or
Italian Maria Elena Camerin.
Ludmila Cervanova of Slovakia won 6-2 6-3 against Paraguay's Rossana Neffa-De Los Rios and will now meet the winner of today's all Spanish clash between top seed Magui Serna and Conchita Martinez Granados.
French number eight seed Virgine Razzano eased past Evgenia Koulikovskaya of Russia 6-1 6-4 to advance to round two where she will meet Czech Klara Koukalova, a 6-2 6-3 winner over Marta Marrero of Spain. In yesterday's other match Katarina Srebotnik, the Slovenian number four seed, defeated Italy's Tathiana Garbin 6-2 7-5.
