Computers for higher secondary schools in J&K
Jammu, Oct 13: All the higher secondary schools in Jammu and Kashmir would be equipped with computer laboratory facilities, Minister of State for Education Abdul Rehman Veeri said today.
Jammu, Oct 13: All the higher secondary schools in Jammu and Kashmir would be equipped with computer laboratory facilities, Minister of State for Education Abdul Rehman Veeri said today.
These facilities for computer laboratories would provide quality education to the student community, especially in far-flung and remote areas in the state, the minister said.
The minister, who held several meetings with the officers of education department during his recent tour to Jammu division, said the government was committed to give efficient governance and improve the standards of education and therefore needed a workforce which was fully computer literate.
Veeri said the government has also decided to start nursery classes in government primary schools. The private institutions have also been instructed to reserve some quota for needy students without takikng fees, he added.
