Ultras attack army camp
Militants attacked an army camp at Awantipora in Pulwama district of south Kashmir but there were no casualties or damage to property, an official spokesman said on Thursday.

He said that a group of ultras fired rockets and hurled grenades at the army camp on Wednesday night and followed this up with indiscriminate firing. The troops retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for sometime, the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, army recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition during search operations in Dardpora Forest in Kupwara district.
The haul included eight AK assault rifles, two disposable rocket launchers and a Pika gun.
