Bhopal, Apr 30: In a major reshuffle, Madhya Pradesh government has transferred 23 IPS officers, including four superintendents of police and 11 additional superintendents of police. An official announcement made last night said the police superintendents of Indore, Guna, Harda and Rajgarh had been given new postings.
Madhukumar Babu, who was superintendent of police, Guna district, will be the new superintendent of police of Indore in place of V K Maheshwari, who has been sent in the same rank to police headquarters at Bhopal. The present superintendent of police for Harda district has also been posted in the same rank at police headquarters, here while the SP for Rajgarh, A Sai Manohar has been appointed SP for economic offences wing here.
S M Afzal who was senior superintendent of police, radio at Bhopal has been appointed new SP for Gwalior, while Pankaj Kumar Srivastava, who was till now assistant inspector general of police at police headquarters has been posted as new superintendent of police for Sagar district. D Sriniwas Verma will be the new superintendent of police Guna, while L C Bhartiya who was till now assistant superintendent of police in Ratlam will be the new SP for Damoh.
The assistant superintendents of police who have been given new postings include Vivek Sharma, J P Ahirwar, V K Suryavanshi and Anshman Yadav. Bureau Report
