Jaipur, July 12: Samata Party today asked the BJP to take the initiative for having seat adjustment with other NDA partners in the coming assembly polls in Rajasthan to unseat the Congress. " BJP should try for an understanding over seats with smaller partners of NDA in the coming assembly polls", a political resolution adopted by the state committee of the Samata Party said here. The party would contest 50 seats in alliance with other NDA partners in Rajasthan if BJP failed to respond, the party said in statement issued here. In a separate resolution the party's state committee appealed to Defence Minister George Fernandes to lower the minimum qualification for recruitment to armed forces in the interest of weaker sections of the society among whom school dropout rate was quite high.
