Dehradun, May 31: Dr Rakesh Kumar, an IAS officer, has been appointed as additional secretary to Uttaranchal Governor Sudershan Agarwal. Dr Kumar will also be additional secretary, health and family planning, and Uttaranchal health system project director. Earlier, these were being looked after by Mr Dilip Kumar Gupta, who has now been made additional secretary, urban development. Girija Shanker Joshi who was additional secretary, urban development, has been appointed as labour commissioner of Uttaranchal. Mr Rajpal Singh, a PCS officer, has been made the chief development officer of Pauri, according to official sources. Bureau Report
