Delhi Police on Thursday lodged an FIR against unknown persons in the “hijack” case of the Alliance Air aircraft. According to Delhi Police sources, the FIR was lodged at the Palam Airport police station under section four of Anti-Hijacking Act and provisions of the Indian Penal Code relating to illegal confinement and kidnapping against unknwon persons.
They said the investigations would be carried and efforts would be made to find out the person, who made the call to Alliance Air`s office here late last night that the aircraft was being hijacked.
Senior Delhi Police officials said some persons at the air traffic control in the capital as well as at Ahmedabad were likely to be questioned.
